Over the years we have designed and built several test rigs. Some of these have contributed to the constitution of a rich operational test facility at the company's headquarters. These test systems are used daily by a close-knit team of engineers and technicians to conduct experimental test campaigns for our customers

TPJB Test rigThe TPJB test bench allows the testing of tilting pad journal bearings, i.e. large diameter oscillating pads hydrodynamic bearings that are mainly used in the oil & gas and naval sectors. The test bench allows the dynamic identification of the elastic and damping characteristics of the bearing under test and uses hydraulic excitation systems with ultra-high characteristics.

Differential gear-box Test rigThe differential gear-box test rig allows the testing of differential gear-box transmissions of agricultural tractors and earth moving machines. The test bench has an electric power recirculation architecture with direct current bus (DC BUS)closed cycle. The test bench is equipped with three electric motors, two of which, speed-controlled, work as electric generators.

STBF Test SystemThe STBF test system consists of two INSTRON 1603 mechanical resonance standard compression test machines that allow the run of Single Tooth Bending Fatigue (STBF) test campaigns, i.e. fatigue tests for bending of the single tooth. Appropriate grip, environnment conditioning and loading fixures have been developed in-house. The operating frequency is approximately 130 Hz.

TDM Test rigThe TDM test bench has been designed and built in order to be able to carry out surface damage tests (pitting, micropitting and scuffing) in operating conditions representative of the meshing of a pair of teeth of a gear in a generic and fixed point of the line of action. The test bench uses discs with a bespoke geometry and allows to simulate contact pressures up to 3,500 MPa and sliding speeds up to 20 m/s.
